Chef Johnson is currently the Executive Chef for the Ott's Good Earth Garden a the Jersey Shore, one of the states premier dining destinations. As most recently seen on Food Networks "Beat Bobby Flay as well as Bravo Television showcased on the premier episode of “Rocco’s Dinner Party”, a culinary competition based on elimination challenges. He also helped cater the wedding on the television show “My Big Red Neck Vacation” seen on CMT, and was a mystery diner on Restaurant Stakeout. Geoff was asked from the James Beard Foundation to host the 25 Year New Year’s Eve Celebration 2012, his second dinner following as part of the Team NJ Dinner at the honorable James Beard House in January, 2011. He co-hosted “Stripped Down Kitchen” on Web Talk Radio w/ national award winning cookbook author Rocky Fino. He’s a Celebrity Chef food stylist for The Travel Channel and Discovery Channel, most notably working on projects for Chef Andrew Zimmern, Bizarre Foods and Delicious Destinations, as well as Casey Webb of Man vs. Food for the Harry Connick Jr Show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, the View and Fox and Friends.

His success led to an opportunity to work for Jon Bon Jovi as his personal chef, along with several engagements with the Canadian Embassy with White House Chefs Guy Mitchell and Michael Raber.

Locally, Chef Geoff has participated in the Taste of the Nation (Ocean County, NJ) since 1999 (a local fund raising organization). His philanthropy work also includes volunteering st Father Ken's Kitchen, Share our Strength, a national foundation promoting hunger relief for children. He has appeared on various television networks performing cooking segments, received a total of twelve write up stars and has been featured in many local (Southern New Jersey) and tri-state area (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York) reviews. As a regular participant in culinary food shows with Emeril Lagasse, Claire Robinson, Giada Di Laurentis, Guy Fierri, Ted Allen, Rocco Dispirito, Ingrid Hoffman, Aaron McCargo Jr. Sandre Lee, Duff Goldman, Tyler Florence, among others, he always looks to entertain the crowd.

Geoff was voted into Best Chefs in America four years in a row. He currently sits on the board of that organization. He currently teaches part time as a Culinary Instructor at both Mercer County Community College and Atlantic Cape Community College teaching Applied & Advanced Culinary Skills. Geoff is the former Owner/Executive Chef of The Copper Fish on Broadway in Cape May, NJ which has been nominated as the Best Seafood Restaurant at the Shore. The Copper Fish is also Zagat rated, and was voted Best Restaurant ’08 and ’09 and ’10 and People’s Choice thru Open Table. He enjoys coming up with progressive culinary techniques to create a balance of exploratory, yet approachable dishes. Johnson’s goal is to provide guests a unique and modern culinary experience grounded in the context of traditional flavors. In addition to his broad professional experience, Johnson’s education has been primarily self-taught, over 20 years, working through the ranks, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the ever changing industry.
